Review: Simple Spotless Skin Triple Action Face Wash

Hi! As you can probably see, this is my first blog post and I thank you for reading this. The title makes this a bit obvious, but I am going to do a review of Simple's Spotless Skin Face Wash, so lets get cracking!

This is the label. I'm not that good at photography am I?

First of all I'm going to talk about the packaging. The product comes in a simple sleek tube, which contains 150ml. The packaging quite durable (which is good for me as I'm always knocking things off shelves, e.c.t). It's very eye catching, with bright greens, blues and a metalic silver. The text and colours make it a bit more fun-looking which is a plus as it's aimed at teenagers. The text on the back is easy to understand, which again is another good thing, as none of us like alot of confusing detail in teeny-tiny font.

Now, the product application? You put a small amount in your hands, before lathering it up and applying to damp skin. The product texture is rough as there are white bits in it. I presume these are one of the spot -fighting ingredients, but the roughness on your skin does take some getting used to. The 'lathering' doesn't really work as the product is very hard to lather up, though it still applies easily to your skin. After massaging the product onto your face you rinse it off, which the product does with ease.

The result? It claims to have results from day one. I didn't see any difference to my skin until day two at least. My skin appeared clearer and my spots seemed to be reducing. After just over a week I noticed that my skin had a more healthy glow to it and I seemed to be getting less spots. I have been using this product for almost 2 months now and my skin looks clearer and i don't have as many spots. This doesn't entirely do what it says on the packaging but it gets about halfway there.

Penultimately, the most important thing- Value For Money. Simple Spotless Skin Face Wash retails at around £3.99. For me, thats a bit pricey. Knock £1-£1.50 off and I'd say it's a good price. I personally think it's a bit expensive, especially as it's aimed at teenagers, many who are out of pocket and have parents who won't pay for these 'lotions and potions'. I'd certainly buy it again when I run out - if I see it on offer, that is.

Overall, I think that it is good enough to buy. It may work better on different skin types, who knows? I'd definately reccomend it though, even if it is pricey.
